Born from a long lineage of stringed instruments, the acoustic guitar is steeped in tradition. But music continues to evolve, and musicians demand inspiring new tools with which to carve out their own signature sound. In that spirit, we introduce Ibanez AE, our new flagship series of acoustic-electric guitars. Offering supreme tone and playability, Ibanez AE is the next step in a great tradition.
The compact body enables guitarists to both carry and play it in several situations; on the couch, outdoors, on stage, and at smaller, lighthearted and fun events where a full size acoustic is not necessary. The 607mm short scale, allow less string tension, making it easier for beginners to press on the strings and also the compact body serves to make it easier to hold the guitar. It suits all the demands of a beginner guitarist, but at the same time it is also designed for the most demanding masters of the instrument.
